Worldwide Property Auctions - Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions about Online Auction Property

1. Is it safe to buy property using an online auction such as worldwide property auctions?

Yes. Buying a property online with worldwide property Auctions is safe and simple. All our properties are advertised by the owners themselves so you are negotiating direct with them.

2. Do I need to register to bid?

No - there is no need for you to register.

3. If I pull out will I lose my deposit?

This depends on the country in question, Laws in various countries such as spain have the regulation that if you default on the purchase you will lose your deposit so please be absolutely sure before you commit yourself to buying any property.

4. How can I pay for my property?

If you are successful then you will make all the necessary arrangements with the property owner for the actual buying process. Should you need a mortgage then we can help you find suitable funding.

5. Can I view the Properties for Auction?

Yes, simply contact us to arrange a suitable viewing date and time. This is sometimes paid for by the agent or vendor but quite regularly you will be asked to stump up the cost, but you can never be too sure that the property will be for you until you see it for real.

6. If I buy as an investment can you manage my property?

Yes. Simply complete the enquiry form attached to every property and enquire direct with the owner about viewing their property.

7. Do you arrange inspection tours?

We do not arrange inspection tours as such but we can arrange for viewings and assistance with finding flights, accommodation locally and car hire please contact us to discuss.

8. What are the costs of buying at Auction?

Other than your normal legal/coveyancing costs (approx 10-12%) - which your lawyer will advise you of there are no further costs involved. Worldwide Property Auctions do not charge any fees to the buyer.

9. Am I really going to pick up a bargain?

Worldwide Property Auctions have always been a favourtie with investors in two ways. Firstly it allows you to pick up a bargain property at below market valuation. Secondly it allows you to also off load a property quickly if you need to raise money via alternative means. The property market at the moment is slowing down across Europe and in many areas across the world so Property Auctions are an ideal place to liquidate your property quickly instead of waiting for months to even get some interest using conventional real estate methods.

10. Can you arrange a mortgage for me?

We have access to many banks and lending facilities worldwide, please contact us for more information. Our advice is free and impartial.
